Mentorship

In recent times, there has been a growing awareness and recognition of the critical importance of creativity and innovation in growing and sustaining the economy, a growing emphasis and encouragement to individuals, businesses/organizations, etc to “be creative” and “be innovative”. As a result, there’s high demand for creative and innovative individuals in the workforce and leadership. This is inevitable as any growing economy requires creative or innovative minds to thrive and flourish. Both at the local, national and global levels creativity and innovation are leading the trends. It’s envisaged that a growing number of students will be entering this field in the future. WCCI recognizes the need to connect students with creative professionals and industry practitioners as mentors, to help them progress and advance in their chosen career in order to contribute to the growth of the industry. WCCI will therefore, serve as a LINK or BRIDGE between the Academia(Universities/Colleges offering education or learning in creativity, innovation and allied programs), Industry and Community, and in facilitating and coordinating programs for advancing and promoting creative and innovative capacity building and effective distribution and utilization of creative manpower in the industry. We are pleased to offer a Mentorship Program to those individuals who are members of our organization.

WCCI will be able to help with placement into this program, providing the students with information they will required to properly connect with prospective mentors, to learn more about the opportunities available.
